We are happy to announce the County of Monroe and the Monroe County Waste Authority has finalized an agreement for pickup, removal and disposal of deer from the County's roadways.  The Authority will act as the County's agent and or contractor under a preexisting agreement with the Pennsylvania Game Commision and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation until such time as the Waste Authority can become a direct party with the other agencies.

The excellent service that has been provided to the county residents will continue.  Please call the Waste Authority at 570-643-6100 or call our toll free number at 888-502-6055 to report a dead deer needing to be picked up and properly disposed.  Click on the "Contact Us Online" link in the upper right hand corner of the homepage and in the comments box, please give us the township where the deer is, the location/road and any intersecting roads.  Also give us your name and phone number in case we are unable to locate the deer.
